The chalet enjoys a sunny and peaceful location on the hills above Haute-Nendaz, on the edge of the forest. The ski slopes are very close by (ski-in access available), and the gondola and the resort center are a 5-minute drive away.
Municipality
In the heart of Valais, on a hillside on the left bank of the Rhône Valley, the town of Nendaz offers sweeping, often panoramic views of the Alps and the Rhône Valley. Surrounded by magnificent peaks, the area offers nature lovers a vast expanse of open space, stretching from the Rhône Plain (Aproz) to the highest peak (Rosablanche, 3,336 m).
The municipality consists of about fifteen villages and hamlets, with a total population of 7,000 residents.
Haute-Nendaz (1,360 m), its tourist hub, is brimming with shops and restaurants, offering all the amenities of a “small town” while retaining its character as a mountain resort. The town’s large population, combined with the high number of tourists and/or second-home owners, ensures that the village is a pleasant and often lively place to live.
The resort offers direct access to the famous 4 Vallées ski area, with its 410 km of ski runs and trails, and its highest peak, Mont-Fort, at 3,330 m. Winter snow sports reign supreme here and will satisfy both beginners and experts, on the slopes and off-piste alike. Various events, such as the Nendaz-Freeride or the Verbier Extrême (at Mont-Fort), liven up the quieter weeks of the season.
Summer is a hiker’s paradise, featuring a unique network of irrigation channels (98 km) that offers trails for all skill levels. Hikers, cyclists, and mountain bikers can enjoy countless routes stretching from the valley floor to the glaciers, through orchards or forests, along alpine roads or rocky trails, beside mountain lakes or up to the highest peaks. In July, Nendaz becomes the capital of the alphorn, hosting its international festival.
The resort of Nendaz is constantly evolving to meet the expectations of its many tourists, with innovative Alpine architecture. The selection of high-end hotels has expanded significantly in recent years, including, for example, the 4* Hotel des 4 Vallées and its exceptional spa, open to the public (2,200 m² in total), or, more recently, the Mad Retreat, offering a haven of peace in a complex of small luxury chalets, complete with a spa and treatments, also open to the public

4 Vallées: 410 km of slopes and 89 lifts covered by a single lift pass. The 4 Vallées ski area seems to stretch on forever, connecting the resorts of Verbier, La Tzoumaz, Nendaz, Veysonnaz, and Thyon. Its countless possibilities, the quality of its snow, its highest point on the glacier at 3,330 m (Mont-Fort), and its abundant sunshine make it an exceptional destination. This ski area delights all skiing enthusiasts, whether experts or beginners. Open from November through the end of April, the area also offers a vast playground for off-piste and ski touring enthusiasts.
The ice rink or one of the resort’s magnificent public spas offer a great alternative to a day on the slopes. The tourist office organizes various events throughout the season, and events like the Nendaz-Freeride or Snow Wibes liven up the quieter weeks of winter.
SUMMER
In summer, the fantastic network of bisses (98 km) lets you discover Nendaz from a different perspective, with shaded, flat walks suitable for all fitness levels. The numerous forest and alpine roads, as well as the mountain trails, are sure to delight hikers and mountain bikers alike.
On hot days, the swimming pool becomes the perfect spot to cool off in an idyllic setting. Games and a wading pool will delight even the youngest visitors.
A climbing wall, tennis courts, beach volleyball, and ping-pong, among other amenities, round out the sports center’s offerings.
The Nendaz market is the ideal meeting place where locals, residents, and tourists can mingle. Numerous events are held during the summer, including the famous International Alphorn Festival, which will thrill you with the sounds of this enormous wind instrument, both on the Alpe à Tracouet and in town.

Sion is just 25 minutes from Nendaz. Its medieval old town is one of the liveliest in Switzerland, with numerous shops, restaurants, cafés, and outdoor seating areas. A visit is a must, in addition to the cultural attractions you can explore.
